What is Vision Kitchen?

Vision Kitchen is a ministry that provides hot meals to our South End Toledo community on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights at 5:30 p.m. It operates out of Vision Ministries, located at 1630 Broadway. In addition to serving meals, Vision Kitchen also runs a food ministry providing boxes of food for families on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. This is a place where the body of Christ comes together to show love to our community through fellowship, a short message, and good food!

How can you be involved?

You can participate in the monthly meal that Redemption Church provides on the 4th Friday of each month. This can be through:

  • Making or donating food for the meal - Grab a recipe card and tray on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Label all items with “Vision Kitchen,” and drop them off in the church kitchen. Place cold items in the refrigerator and all other items on the counter.

  • Serving and connecting with individuals during the meal at Vision - Contact Connie (csburcin@hotmail.com) for more information about serving as an individual or group.

Other ways to partner with Vision

  • Each year, we help to host and provid a Thanksgiving meal. Opportunities to serve or donate will be available via a link starting in November.

  • During the holiday season, we support families in need by providing Easter baskets and Christmas gifts. Details about how to serve or donate will be shared closer to each holiday.
